Medical Affairs Associate

Job Description

Edenbridge Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Affairs Associate to serve as a conduit of medical and scientific information between the Company and healthcare providers, researchers, and key opinion leaders. The successful candidate will report to the VP, Business Development & Associate General Counsel and work closely with the executive management of the Company located at its Parsippany, NJ office. Responsibilities for the successful candidate include:

Communicating Medical & Scientific Information

  • Present medical and scientific literature to healthcare providers in individual meetings, panel discussions, and conferences
  • Prepare marketing materials and informational documentation
  • Travel to and participate in meetings with medical and pharmacy directors and other clinical personnel at commercial and government payers
  • Attend conferences to provide medical and scientific information to conference attendees

Educating Company Employees

  • Communicate key clinical advantages of Company products to internal stakeholders
  • Serve as a medical resource for executive management and the commercial team
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs on medical and scientific issues in regulatory filings for commercial and pipeline products
  • Develop appropriate responses and training materials to assist Quality Assurance in responding to medical inquiries

Supporting Relationships with Researchers & KOLs

  • Organize meetings with researchers and key opinion leaders to facilitate efficient exchange of information
  • Research medical and scientific publications for information relating to Company products
  • Identify and develop scientifically based peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders to understand current research and practice trends

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as a M.D., Pharm.D., or Ph.D. in a research science
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter who can be effective with minimal supervision
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and ethics
